Last Saturday, in the center of the capital, the Warsaw garland celebrations took place. Despite the change of place and the theme, the Warsaw public, as usual, rose to the occasion: around 20,000 people enjoyed the concert. As per tradition, there were real garlands, flowers and phosphorescent gadgets.
On a big stage, in front of the Palace of Culture, bands: Europe and Kosheen performed, as well as Muniek. The fans of Europe arrived to the concert from all ofer Europe and waited for their performance from early hours. And it was worth it! The legendary band turned out to be in great shape and emanating positive energy. Aside from songs form their new album, the musicians performed some of their old hits, ending the show with the famous “The Final Countdown.”
Europe at Wianki nad Wisłą Festival

The legendary Swedish band EUROPE will perform on June 19 during the Wianki nad Wisłą Festival in Warsaw. The fans will surely have the chance to listen to the band's greatest hit “The Final Countdown” just before the grand firework show launches.
The latest album - „Last Look at Eden” was released in August 2009 and received a warm welcoming from the fans. Currently, the band is in the middle of “The Last Look at Eden” Tour in Europe and in Asia.
The musicians refer to it as “the best rock album of the decade”. Is it really that good? We will have a chance to see for ourselves on June 19, 2010 in Warsaw, during the Wianki nad Wisłą Festival.
This will be Europe's second visit to Poland. They came here for the first time in 1992.
